DON'T
BE A
DICK!

Removing Bad Behaviour with Good Leadership

Most companies use up to 15% of their working time for conflict resolution.

Executives spend up to 50% of their weekly working hours directly or indirectly with frictional losses, conflicts, or the consequences of conflict.

This book exposes a malignant entity that quietly and pervasively eats away at organisations and teams within businesses. It is disruptive, costly, and damaging. This dark creature has many faces, and its name is dysfunction. A minor demon spawned from the bowels of hell but a beast, nonetheless.

Bad behaviour is rife in our organisations. But fear not; help is at hand. Dysfunction has a mortal enemy: Leadership … and a slightly threadbare stuffed animal.

  • We will explore the range of bad behaviour, from incivility to violence.

  • We will examine the Dark Triad of Narcissism, Machiavellianism and Psychopathy.

  • We will also discover that WISE leadership, aided by Wisdom, Insight, Self-awareness, and Empathy, can create the environment, behaviour, and processes necessary to banish dysfunction.

  • … and who would have thought that Winnie the Pooh had so much to say.

And remember, when all else fails,

Don’t be a Dick!

Just ask yourself,

‘What would Pooh do?’

Don't be a Dick!

"Respect your fellow human being, treat them fairly, disagree with them honestly, enjoy their friendship, explore your thoughts about one another candidly, work together for a common goal and help one another achieve it. No destructive lies. No ridiculous fears. No debilitating anger." -  Bill Bradley.
